摘要: The objective of this study was to evaluate the efficacy propolis treatment for reducing anthracnose development on mango fruit variety Kent; and compare its chitosan treatment, which is already a well-studied natural produce. For in vitro experiments, Petri plates were amended with (0, 0.5,1.0, 1.5, 2.0 2.5% v/v) or 0.25, 0.5, 1.0, 1.5 2.0% w/v) solutions. vivo mangoes infected spore suspension Colletotrichum gloeosporioides solution either (1.5%) used controlling pathogen development. fruits stored 14 days at 12 ± 1°C 83 2%RH, then, another 7 23?C, 82%. Lesion area, firmness, chemical composition, as well color skin evaluating performance two products. Even if results demonstrated net superiority pathogen, showed opposite order when classifying products alive fresh obtained suggested that propolis, chitosan, may be anthracnose, maintaining quality, increasing shelf life 'Kent' mango. However, far from producing competitive performance. (Resume d'auteur)
