摘要: To investigate oxidative effects of N-nitrosodimethylamine (NDMA) on the liver, rats were challenged by reagent with a dose range 10 to 40 mg/kg. With lower levels, protective responses prominent, such as elevation hepatic glutathione and metallothionein (MT) levels. Increased activities also evident gamma-glutamylcysteine synthetase, glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase (G6PD), malic enzyme. In high range, however, toxic responses, increases in lipid peroxide levels liver serum, glutamic-oxaloacetic transaminase (GOT), glutamic-pyruvic (GPT), ketone bodies serum became marked. Some less marked at highest dose. Catalase peroxidase inhibited NDMA treatment. On other hand, when was injected series doses (10 mg/kg four separate occasions), marked, MT remained unchanged even after 4th injection. Only increase G6PD activity more times repeated injection than single These results suggest that hepatotoxic are moderate given contrast only detectable change kidney.
