摘要: Abstract In the frame of this work, plasma electrolytic oxidation a zinc alloy was performed in phosphate-aluminate electrolyte as first approach. Phase composition and microstructure formed PEO coating analysed function treatment time applied current density. The coatings are mainly composed out ZnAl2O4 ZnO with some smaller amounts AlPO4 Zn2P2O7. formation starts at lower discharge energies changes to reactive when energy is increasing. phase only influenced by final voltage not Latter determining growth rate coating. However, stresses high layers cracked seems flake-off already during processing, thus longer times thickness increasing anymore. To prevent extensive flaking-off constant “repair” mode introduced partly successfully end treatment.
