摘要: In this study, lead iodide (PbI2) thin films were deposited on glass substrates by spin coating a solution of 0.2 M PbI2 dissolved in dimethylformamide, varying the deposition time and speed. The thickness decreased with increase speed time, as examined profilometry measurements. structure, morphology, optical electrical properties analysed using various techniques. X-ray diffraction patterns revealed that possessed hexagonal structures. grown highly oriented to [001] direction lattice. Raman peaks detected at 96 136 cm−1 corresponding characteristic vibration modes PbI2. photoelectron spectroscopy presence Pb I core level binding energies Atomic force microcopy showed smooth compact morphology films. From UV–Vis transmittance reflectance spectral analysis, bandgap ∼2.3 eV was evaluated. dark conductivity computed value increased.
