摘要: The currently accepted mechanism of formation cationic lipid-DNA complexes (lipoplexes) relies on the basic assumption that equilibrium structure lipoplexes is regulated by thermodynamics. main consequence neutral are one phase whereas positively (or negatively) charged ones coexist with excess lipid DNA). authors report a small angle x-ray diffraction study made 3β-[N-(N,N-dimethylaminoethane)-carbamoyl]cholesterol and calf thymus Na-DNA. Here show can unbound DNA they claim steric size effects definitely important to determine lipoplexes.
