Role of the innate immunity in female reproductive tract

摘要: The mucosal immune system in the female reproductive tract (FRT) is well equipped to meet sexually transmitted pathogens, allogeneic sperm, and immunologically distinct fetus. Analysis of FRT indicates that epithelial cells provide a physical barrier against pathogens microbial infections as secretions containing anti-microbial peptides, cytokines, chemokines which recruit activate cells. Epithelial confer protection part through Toll-like receptors. aim this literature review diverse components innate system, contributing an exclusive throughout FRT.
