摘要: This study used binocular rivalry to examine whether emotionally relevant pictures are processed preferentially in the visual system. Binocular occurs when two incompatible presented both eyes. If cannot be merged a single unambiguous percept, results an alternation of percepts. However, it has been controversial emotional picture content can influence picture's relative predominance. Twenty pairs and neutral from International Affective Picture System (IAPS) were 45 healthy participants. As hypothesised, significantly predominated over pictures, with respect first percept total viewing time across each trial. We conclude that predominance provides further support for preferential processing stimuli
