摘要: This paper describes the use of generalized point-matching technique (GPMT) in analyzing plane electromagnetic (EM) scattering from 3-D bounded objects consisting (or modeled by) an arbitrarily shaped axisymmetric perfect electrically conducting (PEC) or dielectric obstacle embedded body revolution and disposed with respect to propagation direction polarized incident electric field vector. The treatment may be validly applied scatterers whose boundary surfaces must have no sharp corners edges which will introduce a discontinuity unit vector normal core and/or outer coat surfaces. It should pointed out, however, that when applicable, method is remarkably robust capable providing highly accurate numerical modelling predictions for full-vector EM wave interactions large variety two-layered structures. Numerical results scatterer configurations are provided compared exact otherwise available demonstrate potency versatility suggested GPMT formulation. >
