Scattering from an eccentrically stratified dielectric sphere

摘要: In this paper the scattering from eccentrically stratified spheres is considered. For case of a spherical inhomogeneity embedded inside dielectric sphere, method separation variables used in conjunction with translational addition theorems for vector waves. Analytical results are obtained when difference constants two small by employing special perturbation technique. Scattering properties such as distortion patterns, variation total and backscattering cross sections, depolarization randomly oriented scatterers investigated. Methods detection identification inhomogeneities discussed.
