摘要: Publisher Summary This chapter focuses on various differential light scattering techniques used in microbiology. The presents a detailed explanation of the meaning and includes theoretical results that can be as basis for interpretation. Differential means variation scattered intensity with respect to angle scattering. Experimental procedures by which interpretations are achieved discussed along selected applications measurements bacterial systems using Further extend methods areas somewhat outside general microbiology presented. A brief mathematical appendix is presented summarize more important theories interpreting predicting results. Although much quantitative analysis still remains completed many performed date, qualitative features should provide useful rapidly understanding biophysical phenomena affecting system being studied.
