In defense of due diligence in cyberspace

摘要: This article examines application of the due diligence principle, by which states are responsible for ensuring their territories not used activities harmful to other states, cyberspace. It explores parameters obligation under international law, concluding that it is subject a condition feasibility. The also analyzes relationship between principle and taking countermeasures law state responsibility being victimized cyber operations conducted from abroad. argues may afford victim means respond launched nonstate actors located outside its territory.
