摘要: Abstract Continuous combined fermentation of ground wheat starch was realized in an annular-hybrid bioreactor (AHB) for hydrogen gas production. A mixture pure cultures Clostridium beijerinkii (DSMZ-791) and Rhodobacter sphaeroides-RV were used as seed fermentation. The feed contained 5 g L−1 with some nutrient supplementation. Effects hydraulic residence time (HRT) on the rate yield formation investigated. Steady-state daily production decreased but, increased increasing HRT. highest 90 ml g−1 at HRT 6 days. Hydrolysis glucose to volatile fatty acids (VFA) readily all HRTs. However, slow conversion VFAs H2 CO2 by photo-fermentation caused accumulation medium.
