摘要: Publisher Summary This chapter discusses the biological properties of NSILA-S. The effects NSILA-S and insulin on adipose tissue in vitro are indistinguishable. Pooled epididymal rat serves as routine assay for preparations laboratory. Pure has an activity equivalent to 400 mU/per milligram protein. Considering molecular weight 7500, it is mole per mole, approximately 50 times less active than insulin. Whereas serum ILA seems influence conversion labeled glucose glycogen a lesser extent insulin, this not true extracted describes experiment which was carried out with from fasted-refed rats. results demonstrate that 250 μU milliliter incubation medium exert same maximal concentration 14 C-labeled total lipids, fatty acids, same, so oxidation C CO 2 . Furthermore, both hormones block glycerol release completely. decrease content normally occurs during incubations rats entirely abolished by hormones.
