摘要: Background Tissue inhibitor of metalloproteinases-1 (TIMP-1) is a multifunctional secreted protein with pleiotropic actions, including the inhibition matrix metalloproteinases (MMPs), cell death/survival and growth promoting activities. After inflammatory challenge, levels TIMP-1 are highly selectively upregulated in astrocytes among glial cells, but little know about its role these neural cells. We investigated influence null mutation reactivity cultured to pro-inflammatory stimuli TNF-α anti-Fas antibody.
