摘要: Higher plants Photosystem I is composed of two moieties: the chlorophyll α/β-carotene core complex, binding electron transfer components and inner antenna peripheral antenna, LHCI. The latter at least 4 different Lhca proteins belonging to Lhc protein family, Chl a, b several carotenoid species. It has been previously proposed that LHCI polypeptides are organised into heterodimers called LHCI-730 LHCI-680 on basis their 77K fluorescence emission peaks (1), while 8 polipeptides could surround each complex. In this study we have investigated biochemical spectroscopic properties isolated by a new mild procedure.
