摘要: Discoidin domain receptors 1 and 2 (DDR1 DDR2) are members of the receptor tyrosine kinases, which regulate fundamental cellular processes concerning proliferation, differentiation, adhesion, motility, apoptosis. The dysregulation these is linked to a number human diseases, including fibrotic disorders, atherosclerosis, cancer. However, there have been no studies that analyzed expression DDRs in ameloblastomas (ABs). In this study, we investigated level distribution both ABs determined whether could predict prognosis disease. Real-time reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction, western blot, immunohistochemical analyses were performed detect DDR mRNA protein levels normal oral mucosa (NOM) ABs. relationship with clinicopathology was statistically. DDR1 DDR2 found be increased by 3.42- 3.66-fold versus NOM, respectively. Recurrent displayed higher than did primary (P < 0.05). Using blot analysis, proteins lower NOM (P < 0.05), showed recurrent ones Immunohistochemically, expressions markedly AB patients recurrence Multivariate analysis Cox proportional hazards model indicated an independent prognostic factor It suggested up-regulation might play important role tumorigenesis aggressiveness Thus, may considered as good biomarker for indicating © 2014 IUBMB Life, 66(4):292–299,
