摘要: The aim of this work is to analyze the effects LED therapy at 940 nm or cold water immersion (CWI) after an acute bout exercise on markers muscle damage and inflammation. Thirty-two male Wistar rats were allocated into four groups: animals kept rest (control), exercised (E), + CWI (CWI), (LED). swam for 100 min, which blood samples collected lactate analysis. Animals in E group returned their cages without treatment, was placed (10°C) 10 min received irradiation both gastrocnemius muscles (4 J/cm2 each). After 24 h, killed soleus submitted histological Blood used hematological CK analyses. results demonstrated that presented fewer areas inflammatory cell infiltration lower levels activity than group. Fewer damaged fiber observed CWI. did not reduce edema areas. Hematological analysis showed no significant effect either treatment leukocyte counts. suggest more efficient preventing local inflammation exercise.
