摘要: Abstract Nanocomposite hydrophilic flexible polyurethane foams were prepared by in situ polymerization using an organomodified sepiolite as filler. The affinity nitrates dissolved water was increased treating them with quaternary ammonium salts (S-QAS), leading to remarkable maximum adsorption capacity (qmax = 23.30 mg/g). Langmuir model well described the process of modified sepiolite, and more remarkably, suffers no decrease their removal after being imbibed foam. proper selection chemistry allows significant contact between polluted-water even when enclosed inside cell walls. Accordingly, as-prepared polyurethane/sepiolite provided a facile nitrates-pollution from water, actual nitrates-polluted competitive environment, without need control or modify pH temperature polluted neither add further filtration steps collect active particles water.
