摘要: This article reviews recent studies on the effects of education health and mortality focusing that might plausibly yield causal estimates. The best evidence from use compulsory schooling laws as source identification provides little support for a link. Other credible research designs have in some cases yielded promising results effect, but more is needed to supplement these studies. Recent comprehensive analyses using either statistical decompositions or developmental model how early life endowments give rise disparities, complement relied narrowly focused experimental evaluations. Another innovation literature shows promise future analysis includes school quality measures.
