摘要: Experimental work using mixed bed ion-exchange resins for removing old fission products from tap water showed that the highest decontamination factors were obtained when was adjusted to pH 2.5 with nitric acid. This adjustment increased anion content of and it is therefore recommended a 3:1 ratio cation resin be used. Flow rate appears an important consideration in radioactivity should not exceed 2 gpm per cubic foot resin. The capacity exchanger removal based on amount total dissolved solids feed. lower larger throughput. (auth)
