摘要: Interleukins (ILs) are known to play a fundamental role in cancer. We investigated the serum levels of IL-8 and IL-12, breast cancer patients, their relationship with prognostic parameters therapy. Fortyeight patients pathologically verified carcinoma 21 healthy controls were enrolled into study. Serum samples obtained at baseline after two cycles chemotherapy. IL-12 determined using enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). There was no significant difference between (p = 0.365 andp 0.871, respectively), correlation IL-8, levels. However, subgroup consisting metastatic significantly higher compared non-metastatic disease 0.047). Anthracycline-based chemotherapy addition taxane did not change both IL-12. level may be useful determining Larger studies needed confirm this finding.
