摘要: PURPOSE AND METHODSWe identified patients with gastric cancer at high risk for recurrence before therapy using endoscopic ultrasonography (EUS). Neoadjuvant the fluorouracil, doxorubicin, and metrotrexate (FAMTX) regimen was given three courses planned laparotomy intention to perform curative resection. Postoperatively, intraperitoneal (IP) cisplatin fluorouracil (FU) intravenous (i.v.) FU were administered undergoing resection.RESULTSFifty-six assessable treated. Preoperative FAMTX tolerable, major toxicity being neutropenic fever. One treatment-related death seen. Eighty-nine percent of underwent surgical exploration 61% had potentially resections.
