摘要: Abstract Macrophyte biomass production and species richness were monitored from 1988 through 1991 in four freshwater wetlands constructed on the floodpain of Des Plaines River, Lake County, Illinois, USA. The pumping river water began 1989 under two differentd hydrologic regimes: received high inflow (equivalent to 40 cm wk −1 depth) low flow (11 ). Biomass showed no relationship inflows after years experimentation, with both highest lowest occuring wetlands. Rates primary increased between 1990 conditions decreased conditions, primarily as a result initial composition plant community. change dry flooded altered each wetland include almost 100% wetland-adapted species. Similarity among diverged community adjusted then converged developed.
