Design of a compact dual-band-notch ultra-wideband bandpass filter based on wave cancellation method

摘要: In this study, a compact ultra-wideband (UWB) bandpass filter (BPF) with sharp roll-off, improved out-of-band performance and dual-band-notch operation is presented its design procedure discussed. the proposed structure, in order to reject unwanted harmonic pass bands, pair of modified cross-shaped coupled lines (CCLs) implemented along ports filter. Moreover, half-circle-shaped stubs stepped-impedance stub are loaded on main resonator obtain additional transmission zeros (TZs) which controllable separately. Implementation CCLs (SLR) reduce total size microstrip BPF. Besides, by extending folding upper line each also through an open protruded inside slot resonator, added The fabricated prototype has small capable cover frequency band 2.8–10.69 GHz two band-notch functions at 4.9–5.4 7.83–8.25 suppresses interference between UWB spectrum wireless local area network (WLAN) satellite communication respectively. while showing good return loss insertion characteristic interest.
