Assignment of a Gene for Adenosine Deaminase to Human Chromosome 20

摘要: Evidence, based on five series of mouse-human somatic cell hybrid clones, is presented for assignment a human gene adenosine deaminase (ADA: EC 3.5.4.4) to chromosome 20. The form expressed by the cells apeared be identical isozyme found in erythrocytes, judging from its electrophoretic mobility and reactions with p-chloromercuribenzoic acid (PCMB). Absence ADA activity has been associated combined immunodeficiency syndrome. relationship our data hypotheses concerning this association discussed.
