摘要: MicroRNAs (miRNAs) have been demonstrated to be important in the development and progression of various types cancer. However, exact roles certain anti‑oncogenic miRNAs human malignant gliomas remain elucidated. The present study aimed reveal expression microRNA‑203 (miR-203) normal brain tissues gliomas, investigate role miR-203 cell proliferation migration glioblastoma U251 cells. Real-time reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) showed that high WHO grade glioma was significantly decreased compared with low tissues, its a decreasing tendency ascending grades. transfection mimic into cells markedly downregulated phospholipase D2 (PLD2), which identified as direct target miR-203. Furthermore, overexpression suppressed invasion cells, while PLD2 abrogated these effects induced by mimic. In conclusion, clinical significance suggested able inhibit partially at least via suppressing protein PLD2. Thus, may novel candidate for therapeutic strategies gliomas.
