摘要: Chylous ascites refers to the accumulation of lymphatic fluid in peritoneal cavity. The causes chylous are various, and commonly include traumatic injury obstruction, which disrupt system. In addition, cardiothoracic surgery may injure thoracic duct lead chylothorax. However, there very few reported cases isolated developing following surgery. this paper, we report a case postoperative full-term neonate. infant underwent via thoracotomy repair total anomalous pulmonary venous connection coexisting with persistent left superior vena cava on day life 17, was significant increase abdominal girth 12 (day 29). Abdominal ultrasound revealed an 8 mm thick without pleural effusion. paracentesis performed milky-white positive for Sudan III staining test. triglyceride concentration ascitic 691 mg/dL protein 39.4 g/L. Additionally, also contained 6 360×106/L white blood cells, predominantly lymphocytes. These results suggested developed ascites. Conservative management fasting medium-chain triglycerides-based formula successfully resolved reoccurrence. We present our experience rare condition discuss possible case.
