摘要: Abstract Hypothesis Thorough knowledge of the biomolecular interactions between thermoresponsive polymers (TRPs) and proteins are necessary to fabricate potential materials for various bio-related science technology applications. Although over past four decades have evidenced that tremendous growth in utilization TRPs addition stimuli systems, a underlying molecular origins role biological on phase transition is still missing. Experiments We demonstrated comparative effect heme (biological stimuli) such as cytochrome c (Cyt c) myoglobin (Mb) behaviour poly(N-isopropylacrylamide) (PNIPAM) aqueous solution. The sophisticated multiple techniques confirmed structural integrity found play vital altering temperature PNIPAM different extents with increasing concentration proteins. Findings With Cyt c, lower critical solution (LCST) (33.0 °C) increased towards higher (35.7 °C) contrast this Mb LCST decreased (30.7 °C). This discrepancy due difference arrangements both PNIPAM. On basis these results, variation structures proteins, hydration dehydration compared. These results depending type smart used applications, it take into account while designing polymers. hope present study can stimulate more novel concepts dramatic changes polymer protein interactions.
