摘要: Chemotactic response of zoospores two mangrove strains Halophytophthora vesicula (iso- lates LEM-031 and LEM-036) was evaluated using a capillary root model for chemotaxis assay. Different compounds were tested as attractants, including ami- no acids, carbohydrates, lectins, ethanol plant material extracts. Zoospores the found to be chemotactically attracted all extracts tested. Among amino ac- ids, glutamic acid elicited strong chemotactic activity on zoopores both while asparagine zoo- pores isolate only. Ethanol poly- saccharide pectin also induced strains. True chemo- taxis observed among substances which positive response, except resulted in arc-attraction re- sponse zoospores. Trapping accumulated spores pectin, ethanol, glucose, fruc- tose encystment subsequent germination. A negative lectins acids arginine, methionine histidine,
