摘要: Summary Theragnostic imaging for radiation oncology is the use of molecular and functional to prescribe distribution in four dimensions—the three dimensions space plus time—of radiotherapy alone or combined with other treatment modalities an individual patient. Several new targets positron-emission tomography, single-photon-emission CT, magnetic resonance spectroscopy allow variations microenvironmental cellular phenotypes that modulate effect be mapped dimensions. Dose-painting by numbers a strategy which dose delivered inverse planned intensity-modulated prescribed This approach will revolutionise way and, at least theory, improve therapeutic outcome terms local tumour control side-effects unaffected tissue
