Gasoline, Kerosene, and Diesel Fingerprinting via Polar Markers

摘要: Venturi easy ambient sonic-spray ionization mass spectrometry working in the liquid mode (VL-EASI-MS) is shown to provide rapid and reliable characterization of crude oil distillates. With no extraction or pretreatments, samples gasoline, kerosene, diesel, admixtures gasoline/diesel gasoline/kerosene were directly analyzed by VL-EASI(+)-MS. Homologous series natural N-heteroaromatics detected their protonated forms providing typical profiles polar markers. For VL-EASI(+)-MS detects a homologous mainly C1–C5 alkyl pyridines. alkylated tetrahydroquinolines detected. V-EASI(+)-MS profile much richer because detection several classes many N-heteroaromatics. also spectra for petrochemical gasolines detecting specific antioxidants.
