Investigations on electrical and energy storage behaviour of PZN-PT, PMN-PT, PZN–PMN-PT piezoelectric solid solutions

摘要: Electrical response and energy storage behaviour of PZN-PT, PMN-PT, PZN–PMN-PT (PZN-PbZnl/3Nb2/3O3, PMN-PbMg1/3Nb2/3O3 PT-PbTiO3) solid solutions were investigated. SEM micrographs the sample showed grains unequal sizes distributed throughout sample. The average grain size observed was about 0.77 μm for 0.93 PMN-PT 1.82 solutions. All exhibited good dielectric relaxation up to 500 °C in frequency range 1–2 MHz. improved ferroelectric properties (Pr ~ 17.4 μC cm−2, Ec ~ 3.65 kV cm−1, Pm ~ 20.1 μC cm−2 PZN-PT) crossover from nonergodic ergodic relaxor phase with respect temperature. optimum piezoelectric coefficients, voltage coefficients also studied. P–E loop analysis confirmed high density (W) 0.25 J cm−3 at 50 kV cm−1 which substantiates its wide use capacitor applications.
