摘要: Little is known about the viability of eukaryotic microorganisms preserved in icy regions. Here we report on diversity microbial eukaryotes ice samples derived from four Pyrenean glaciers. The species composition communities these glaciers unknown mostly because presence a multi-year cap, and it not clear whether they harbor same populations. recent deglaciation areas allowing an easy access to glacial layers that correspond “Little Ice Age” although some isolated deposits are attributed previous cycles. In this study, use molecular 18S rRNA-based approaches characterize populations associated with Firstly, performed chemical microscopical characterization samples.
