New data on asexual reproduction, autotomy, and regeneration in holothurians of the Order Dendrochirotida

摘要: The features of asexual reproduction, autotomy, and regeneration in five species holothurians from the Order Dendrochirotida which live Nha Trang Bay South China Sea were studied. In Colochirus robustus, ability to perform fission was corroborated. It shown that Cladolabes schmeltzii can redivide without completing its after a previous division. This process is similar fragmentation other holothurians. autotomy quadrangularis, Ohshimella ehrenbergi Massinium magnum described for first time.
