摘要: The power to manipulate the genome of negative-strand RNA viruses, including insertion additional non-viral genes, has led development a new class viral vectors for gene transfer approaches. murine parainfluenza virus type I, or Sendai (SeV), emerged as prototype this vector group, being employed in numerous vitro well animal studies over last few years. Extraordinary features SeV are remarkably brief contact time that is necessary cellular uptake, strong but adjustable expression foreign efficient infection respiratory tract despite mucus layer, transduction target cells independent cell cycle, and an exclusively cytoplasmic replication cycle without any risk chromosomal integration. In review we describe current knowledge (SeVV) results first-generation applications under both vivo conditions. So far, have been identified be highly tool broad range different tissues applications. Future directions design discussed.
