摘要: Abstract Two series of phosphorus-containing copolyesters were synthesized by poly-condensation monomers: poly(ethylene terephthalate)-co-poly(ethylene phenylphosphonate)s [PET-co-PEPPs] and terephathalate)-co-poly(ethylene DDP)s [PET-co-PEDDPs]. Both are considered as flame retardants in polyester fibers plastics. The polymers characterized NMR, IR, TGA acid titration. Experimental results indicated that for the PET-co-PEPP higher phosphorus content lower thermal stability. However, an insignificant effect on stability was observed case PET-co-PEDDPs. Thus, incorporation linkage into main chain less than having a pendant group, i.e. PET-co-PEDDPs more stable PET-co-PEPPs.
