摘要: The biggest challenge in twenty-first century data-intensive genomic science, is developing vast computer infrastructure and advanced software tools to perform comprehensive analyses of data sets for biomedical research clinical practice. Researchers are increasingly turning cloud computing both as a solution integrate from genomics, systems biology mining an approach analyze solve problems. Although provides several benefits such lower costs greater efficiency, it also raises legal ethical issues. In this article, we discuss three key ‘points consider' (data control; security, confidentiality transfer; accountability) based on preliminary review publicly available service providers' Terms Service. These should be borne mind by organizations when negotiating arrangements store large commercial provider's servers. Diligent means leveraging security standards evaluation processes protect entails many the same good practices that researchers always consider securing their local infrastructure.
