摘要: Objectives:  Each nasal area, as defined by Cottle, has a different influence on the airflow. The longitudinal distribution of resistances in cavities was calculated anterior rhinomanometry and acoustic rhinometry data. Design:  Dynamic study Cottle's areas normal subjects carried out rhinometry. Setting:  Study Department Otolaryngology University Rome-La Sapienza. Participants:  Twenty-seven Caucasian adults local general healthy conditions took part completed this study, with total 54 included because negativity at ENT-examination clinical history, respiratory parameters rhinometry. Main outcome measures:  We determined resistances, volumes cross-sectional surface areas, using endoscopy. obtained integrating experimental novel mathematical model. estimation resistance variations result theoretical reduction areas. Results:  2–3–1 (in order importance) showed greatest coefficients determinations greater than 0.98, being quite from that 4 5 for smaller area percentages. Conclusions:  control overall so surgical procedures these greatly dynamics model developed here gives useful information to functional surgery may be applied other schemes cavity.
