摘要: Most strains of Candida albicans are capable switching spontaneously and at high frequencies between a number phenotypes distinguished by colony morphology. Unlike in many other microbial pathogens, C. is pleiotropic, affecting several morphological physiological parameters. Recently, the first phase-specific genes were identified shown to be regulated level gene transcription.
