Rashba interaction in quantum wires with in-plane magnetic fields

摘要: We analyze the spectral and transport properties of ballistic quasi one-dimensional systems in presence spin-orbit coupling in-plane agnetic fields. Our results demonstrate that Rashba precession intersubband must be treated on equal footing for wavevectors near magnetic field induced gaps. find limits occurrence negative effective masses at gap edges modifies linear conductance curves strong limit. The effect spin textured orientation wire magnetization is discussed.
