摘要: The purpose of this articles is to determine whether the cytochrome P450 2E1 (CYP2E1) Rsa I/Pst I gene polymorphism correlated with respiratory system cancers. Respiratory cancers included lung cancer, laryngeal nasopharyngeal and other organs, which are most common malignant tumors worldwide; significant relationship between CYP2E1 some cancer have been reported, but results studies controversial. pooled odds ratio (OR) 95% confidence interval (CI) was calculated assess association. PubMed, EMBASE, Cochrane Library Databases, China National Knowledge Infrastructure, Wanfang Database (up July 20, 2014) were searched for all case-control those mainly studied susceptibility cancer. A total 332 collected, among 34 that involved 7028 cases 9822 controls fulfilled inclusion criteria after being assessed by 2 reviewers. When stratified site, C2/C2 could increase risk under homozygote model (C2C2 vs C1C1: OR = 1.85, CI 1.20-2.85, P 0.005) recessive C1C2/C1C1: 1.89, 1.23-2.89, 0.003). Protection effect found in heterozygote (C1C2 0.82, 0.74-0.91, < 0.001), dominant (C1C2/C2C2 0.83, 0.76-0.90, allele contrast (C2 C1: 0.85, 0.73-1.00, 0.045).
