摘要: Murine double minute 2 (MDM2) is a negative regulator of p53. A single-nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) (rs2279744: c.309T>G) in the promoter region MDM2 gene has been shown to result higher levels RNA and protein. Regarding contribution c.309T>G lung cancer risk, previous studies are conflicting. In order evaluate association between case-control study was performed. The genotypes were determined 762 patients 700 cancer-free control subjects using Smart Amplification Process. Statistical adjustment performed for gender, age pack-years smoking. distributions (T/T, T/G, G/G) 20.1, 49.7, 30.2% case group 21.7, 47.9, 30.4% healthy-control group. There no overall associations risk [T/G genotype: Adjusted odds ratio (AOR), 1.30; 95% confidence interval (CI), 0.88–1.93; G/G AOR, 1.18; CI, 0.78–1.80]. subgroup analysis histology, smoking status epidermal growth factor receptor mutation also indicated that there with cancer. Additionally, did not have an effect on at time diagnosis (P=0.25). conclusion, G allele frequency cases 0.551, which similar other studies. results present suggest significantly associated
