摘要: To explore the influence of developing flow in a flat channel on laminar forced convection heat transfer, non-linear momentum and linear energy equation are solved successively by employing Galerkin-Kantorowich method variational calculus. Assuming constant fluid properties, negligible axial diffusion temperature boundary condition third kind, semi analytic solution for velocity is derived. The local Nusselt numbers tabulated various values Biot Prandtl number.
