Pattern of linkage and retention in HIV care continuum among patients attending referral HIV care clinic in private sector in India

摘要: Continued engagement throughout the HIV care continuum, from diagnosis through retention on antiretroviral therapy (ART), is crucial for enhancing impact of programs. We assessed linkage and in among people living with (PLHIV) enrolled at a private clinic Pune, India. Of 1220 patients, 28% delayed after median delay 24 months (IQR = 8–43). Younger people, women, low socioeconomic status, those diagnosed facilities other than study were more likely to linkage. Those advanced disease testing due HIV-related illness linked immediately. total 629 patients eligible ART first CD4 count, 68% initiated within 3 months.
