摘要: Intra-abdominal infections are multifactorial, but all require prompt identification, diagnosis, and treatment. Resuscitation, early antibiotic administration, source control crucial. Antibiotic administration should initially be broad spectrum target the most likely pathogens. When cultures available, antibiotics narrowed limited in duration. The method of depends on anatomic site, site accessibility, patient's clinical condition. Patient-specific factors (advanced age chronic medical conditions) as well disease-specific (health care-associated inability to obtain control) combine affect patient morbidity mortality.
