摘要: The cellular response in lens remnants was studied after ECCE the rabbit eye. Following capsulotomy, content gently exprimated. No aspiration/irrigation performed. Degenerative changes were found fibers and epithelium at equator. Proliferation of started early. Lens break-down almost ceased when had been enclosed by proliferating epithelium, that also formed new foci for fiber formation. In opening between anterior posterior capsule fibroblastlike cells emerged on to capsule.
