摘要: Objectives The aim of this study was to follow patient cases retrospectively in a longitudinal manner from the time implant placement they were diagnosed with peri-implant disease, and identify associated clinical microbiological features disease. Material methods A total 281 chosen archives Oral Microbiological Diagnostic Laboratory, Gothenburg, Sweden, based on bacterial samples taken diseased implants. A form designed filled separately for each case including data patient, disease profile. Results Most severe peri-implantitis (91.4%). In 41.3% patients, developed early, already after having implants function less than 4 years. The type surface significantly years function, before (P < 0.05). results by both culture checkerboard analysis, although failed fully correspond severity terms magnitude, proved show that is polymicrobial anaerobic infection increased number AGNB (aerobic Gram-negative bacilli) 18.6% patients. Conclusions Peri-implantitis biological complication poses threat their long-term survival. It may develop earlier around rough surfaces it represent true infection. sampling methods should be improved uniformed so as unveil profile disease.
