摘要: The effect of parameters, such as transmembrane pressure and axial flow rate, on membrane fouling during tomato juice clarification were studied by cross-flow microfiltration using flat sheet polyvinylidenefluoride membranes. permeate flux was modeled a classical constant dead-end filtration equation its modified form for filtration. main physico-chemical properties evaluated. clarified very similar to the feed except insoluble solids lycopene, which concentrated in retentate. Cake formation identified reason decline. At different rates, mechanism evolves from cake an intermediate pore blocking with increasing pressure.
