摘要: We treated 20 cases of acoustic neuromas in the last 2 1/2 years using suboccipital approach with intraoperative monitoring eighth nerve function an attempt to preserve hearing. Total tumor removal was accomplished 18 cases. Three tumors were small (less than cm size); 3 moderate sized (2 cm) and 14 large (greater cm). In 15 cases, all BAER components lost during surgery. These patients had no postoperative five there preservation some or components. included three two other tumors. One patient a size wave 1 only, speech discrimination. retained 5 components, but our series functional hearing after surgery, including smaller. Intraoperative appears be useful predicting Tumor seems primary factor following neuroma
