摘要: • Improvement of hearing after excision an acoustic neuroma has been observed infrequently. We present a case dramatic recovery in patient with 1-cm whose pure-tone thresholds and speech discrimination had profoundly deteriorated while she awaited surgical therapy. Postoperatively, her the affected ear is equal to that other ear, exceeds best preoperative audiogram. Issues related preservation improvement tumor surgery are discussed.
